Video card won't fit in case

I have this case: http://www.techfuels.com/attachments/cpu-components/589...

There are some black plastic latches where you can lock in the video card for the PCI-E slot. My video card is the Radeon HD 6950. However the latches will not pull up, so the video card can't fit. Any ideas how to pull them up?

Thanks

There are usually tiny screws that hold the latches. Look very closely for screws. If there are no screws, it is probably just a snap-in latch. But I am not too familiar with those. Most of the latches I worked with had screws that held them in.

But please wait for another answer because I am not 100% sure.

I'm not getting the connection between 'don't fit in case" and Motherboard "latches will not pull up". I can't imagine the latches in any way hitting the case.

The latches normally "catch" on their own when the card is pressed into places in the slot. Is the card hitting something (not mentioned) that prevents the card from being pushed all the way into it's slot ?

Nevermind. I got it. I just had to push down on the latch and then it popped up. The video card fits now.

Thanks!
