Does anyone own the palit card? I was wondering if I should buy it and overclock. I also havent found any reviews (which is odd) and I wasa wondering how the memory effects performance. Should I just save money and go with the 1 gb card? My resolution is usually 1280x720, 1680x1050 or 1920x1080.

Thanks!

At 1080P and below, generally 1 gb cards are sufficient for most titles (Crysis at max detail/AA/AF settings might be an exception), and the 2gb cards offer no real advantages with current games....

interesting. but, I want my pc to be fairly future proof. Will games use more memory in the future? And I dont think this card could run crysis at max settings with aa.

I'd prefer a 2gb card myself, but, most benchmarks suggest a 1gb card is 'enough' for now even at 1080P...; for the most taxing games, odds are you are not using AA/AF anyway. (I personally never bothered with AA/AF, as I never stare at fences or wall edges looking for jaggies)

The 6950(2gb) when on sale with a rebate (as low as $230-ish overall) is about the best deal out there, IMO....

A PC is not future proof... My advice for now is going with two 6850 in CF or two GTX 460 in SLI.

You will max everything at 1080p.

For a single card, a 6950 is the best deal like mdd is saying.
