Routing Cables Over Motherboard Tray Opening

Hi again

I'm just finishing routing cables through my Corsair Obsidian 650d. I'm threading most through the rubber grommets to keep it tidy. I was wondering, though, is it OK to put cables over the opening of the mother board tray, where you can see the back of the CPU socket. I'm worried it might get too hot by there.

the cables should be fine... it's not going to get hot enough to melt the shielding.

Know this is old, but is there not a risk of cutting the wires?

I heard that the backside of the motherboard is with sharp bits.
