I recently purchased a new flatscreen monitor for my computer. However, the on-board graphics card that came with my computer was not able to handle the 1920 X 1080 resolution required by the monitor. So I purchased and installed a new ATI RADEON X1300 video card. (Since I have a DELL computer, I contacted DELL and they told me that this card was compatible with my computer.)

With the new video card installed, whenever I turn on my computer the monitor starts in power-saving mode and the screen remains blank. Thinking that the problem might be with the video card, I had DELL send me a second card. However, I am having the same problem with this card!

Can anyone please tell me how to fix this problem?
