Slow games on Power color 5750 HD 1GB

I have a powercolor HD5750 1gb but it cant run smoothly crysis 1 on high settings or company of heroes smoothly i have 4gb of ram and my proc is a Intel Pentium D 2.80 ghz.. what can i do to run my games smothly and make the graphics crisp even though a have a decent video card..

Get a better CPU. P4 = junk now.

A 5750 is a decent entry-level gaming card, but definitely not a gaming powerhouse. Even if you upgrade the CPU, you're not going to get great performance in Crysis at high details.

Reduce the settings level and turn off AA. That should help you get smoother gameplay.
