Hello guys, i just got this mobo for my new system:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I have a SSD and i will be installing the OS to that SSD. I never done this before, and i heard a lot of people talking about enanling AHCI in the bios before installing the OS for faster SSD speed. I know each mobo has a different bios. So if any of you have this kind of mobo and know how to enable AHCI. Please show me how, and it would be awesome if include picture.

If no one know. Please show me how to do it. Just show me where it is in the bios and this can be in any mobo. And it would be best if you provide with picture.

Thank you.

Look in the manual.

Look in section 3.4.4 Storage Configuration, of the UEFI setup, and you'll find AHCI configuration under SATA Mode Selection.

This board defaults to AHCI mode anyway, so you shouldn't need to change it.

I hope this helps.
