New to 3d gaming! Need help!

I just got a 3d tv and am quite new to the 3d scene..I have a laptop having ati 5650m graphics card.How do i enable 3d.

Also will gaming performance take a hit with 3d enabled?Can i use hdmi 1.4 with any laptop?Plz help!

3D gaming takes double the resolution and requires high-end hardware. Your weak mobile computer is useless for 3D gaming. In fact laptops in general are useless for 3D gaming.

using 5000-series graphics cards for stereoscopic TV is painfully difficult, moreso with laptop.

i would recommend going with nvidia`s 3d approach. for that you will need powerful nvidia gpu, and nvidia 3d vision set.
