More about note plus processor socket
  1. not it will not. and only a few AM3 boards can support the AM3+ cpu. so just get a AM3+ board and some DDR3 memory ?
  2. well your board must be am3 allready as you have a phenom processor (which is am3) but i dont know if its am3+... could you give me a model number of it and ill look it up for you
  3. AM3+ CPU's will work in only in AM3+ (DDR3 only)

    AM3 CPU's will work in AM3/AM3+ or AM2+ mobo's (Works with DDR3 or DDR2 Ram)

    AM2+ CPU's will only work in AM2+ mobo's (DDR2 only)

    AM2 CPU's will only work in AM2/AM2+ mobo's (DDR2 only)

  5. Well my processor seems to be Phenom II X4 810. I have ddr2 memory.
  6. + little unrelated question but don't bother making another topic for it: should i replace my graphic card (Radeon HD 4850 with 2431Mb memory) over processor or both for ideal gaming performance?
  7. both
  8. allright! which would be prior if i could choose only one.
  9. the GPU and try to oc your cpu a little
  10. Allright thank you very much!
