Asus P6T Deluxe v2 Integrated Sound Card problem

I recently reformatted my computer. I reinstalled Windows 7, and installed all of the drivers for my computer, and everything. But I have one problem. Whenever my microphone picks up any sound, the sound cuts out. Any kind of little noise, and the sound cuts out. I have tried re installing the drivers, and changing driver versions. The integrated sound card comes from SoundMax.

If you mute the microphone, see if that has any effect on the problem.

I did, when the microphone is muted, the cutting out does not occur.
