Ga-H77M-D3H

OK heres my situation i just completed my first pc build, components are as follow Gigabyte Ga-H77M-D3H, Gigabyte Hd 7770 OC 1050mhz GPU, Corsair CX500 80+ PSU, I3 3220 CPU and G skill 4 gig ram running on XP OS.
My issue is i took my PC for a run through Diablo 3 and it locked up 5 min in had to reboot system. My bios is version F4 should I be upgrading to F5,F6, or F9? And stupid me not paying attention to my GPU when purchasing has factory over clock on it. I've heard that people have set their GPU back to standard(no OC) and seems to work fine. My main question is, is the lockup occuring due to the lack of the Ga-H77M-D3h not supporting the Over Clocking feature? oh and I'm running catalyst 12.4
