I was wondering..
Since both the new xbox and ps3 are going with HDTV support has anybody
heard this confirmed for the Revolution?
I live in the UK where HDTV is pretty much non existant and I personally
have no use for it in the next geneartion of console.
My question is this (for the techies amongst you). Is it possible that
Nintendo aren't pursuing HDTV? And would this allow them to make a
console that was similar to, or even more powerful than the other two
contenders simply but cutting back on the HD aspect?
I'm not sure if sharper graphics really are "better" graphics. My
favorite graphics at the moment are in RE4 not HL2, Sharpness looks
artificial to me and with so many people working on ways of decreasing
this in games anyway I wonder if it is wasted energy (at least for the
time being). Maybe this is what SM means when he says that they are
'obsessed by technology'.
I have no knowledge of the technical issues this involves, if anybody
could enlighten me I would appreciate it.

Unlikely. I'm sure there will be 720p or 1080i output.
