Ivy Bridge on Gigabyte GA-H61M-DS2 ??

Hello, I am thinking in purchasing the Gigabyte GA-H61M-DS2 motherboard, and I got the Intel Core I3 3220, 3.3 ghz processor which is an Ivy Bridge, 3rd gen.
Will the proc fit on the Gigabyte GA-H61M-DS2 ?

Yes, the motherboard has support for 22nm ivy bridge CPU.

In order to support the 3rd generation Intel® Core™ processors you need to have Bios version based on the revision of the board you are using. The problem with this is that you may have to have an older 2nd generation Intel Core processor in order to update the Bios on the board.
