Hello, I would like to know what is the best AMD processor for gaming. I know that the next FX's are comming and as of what i have read, they should be good for gaming, but what if they turn out like the current FX's i own one of these and it bottlenecks my GTX 580 also i want an AMD CPU since my Mobo only supports AM3 and AM3+

Its very hard to find phenom cpu's now days, but the phenom 955 is a good choice.

Best the highest clocked Phenom II X4 980BE. Most of the lesser X4 9xx BE can be overclocked to reach same performance or higher.
