Budget Graphics card

Hello,

I want to buy a graphics card within Rs.5000. My preference is based on ATI. I have a 19" Monitor supporting a max resolution of 1366*768.

My main intention is to play games and use the card for graphical designing.

Please suggest accordingly and reply as quick as possible.

for your resolution something like HD5750/6750 should be fine but i do not know how much of this card going to cost in your country

Rs. 5000 is about $110. For that price, I would suggest getting the GTX 550ti or GTX 460.

I don't know the availability of this card in your country but i recently had to buy a card for gaming with the same budget and i found the Ati 5850 at around that price and it is superior to anything else in its price segment you can get the Sapphire xtreme 5850 or (like me ) go with the HIS I cooler v 5850 and beleive me its much better than anything else that costs the same as it!! its a no brainer!!

ye si have heard tat in the US they're selling like mad (and i can understand why) and are really hard to find but where i live (im not in the US) they're available in abundance and and i think that if anyone wants a new video card in the near future for gaming purposes and he isnt exactly filthy rich then i cant see any option other than the 5850 because it can even outperform the pricier cards and still be very cheap iv got it in my system now and its perfect it runs anything i throw at it maxed out and all and it got a 7.7 out of 7.9 in the windows experience index for graphics so i really think that if the OP can find this where he lives (im guessing its India and the Rs stands for rupees )then he wont regret going for this card

around my place you can no longer see 5800 series around. even 5700 series are getting hard to get (they were being replace by 6700 which have much higher price but perform just the same as 5700 series) . but there are tons of entry level 5k series on the shelves :lol:.

Well i am from india and i ordered the Asus Radeon 6750... It Cost Me 7000Rs!

The 5770 , 5850 And all are out of stock!

Besides The 6770 Costs around 8,000 Or Above Here!
Even The GTS 250 = 6,400 Rs! The GTS 450 = 7000 Rs.....
So You Know, You cant get a GTX 550ti and 460 Are Way Off Budget!

I Mean, If u want a correct convert of Indian Rs into USD regarding the graphics card prices here, 5000 Rs = 90$ and nothing more!
