I new to this and am confused by the tech info I've seen. I have an in box, unused Asus P5K-E motherboard. What components do I need to get this mobo to work at its highest performance possible? I am wanting to build it as a gaming and music pc.

There is also an amazing amount of information posted on numerous enthusiast web forums about this board and all the hardware associated with it.

To answer your question- Case, processor, memory, graphics card, power supply, HDD or SSD, DVD, associated wiring and cabling, monitor, KYB and mouse and speakers.
