Hello everyone,

I would firstly like to thank each and everyone of you that helped me reach this stage of my build.I couldn't of done it without you, I'm not talking about only the guys that posted in my threads, but also the dedicate dpeople that made tutorials and so.

So let's get this Worklog started, shall we?
Also, this is my first Worklog & Build so no harsh things, ye? <3

Okay, I'm pretty sad at the moment since the case and monitor(s) weren't on stock and I'l be contacted tomorow to get a delivery date.Meh, I guess more time to watch tutorials, right?

Also, any of you that would like to share some tips/tutorials with a first time builder will be very appreciated in this thread.

Nice looking build! I look forward to seeing some pic's of the build.

NewEgg do a great 3-part "How to build a Computer" series on YouTube. Part 1 is about selecting parts, part 2 is the actual building and part 3 is installing any necessary software and drivers ect. Its all done in real time and shows easy to follow step by step process. If you have any issues or concerns, that's probably the best place to start

Today I got called by the company(Emag.ro), saying that the video card, MOBO and case are "high-risk products" meaning that I have to pay in advance 50% of their price BEFORE they actually order it.That's a major setback as I'l have the money in 3 days, because that's when the rest of the parts will arrive.

So yeah, Shitty thing.How is a HAF case "high-risk"?
Anyways, I'l update when I'm going to pay the 50% and wait for a shipping date(they'll ship all at once).
But the most optimistic date is monday.(19.9.2011)

That's a strange way for a company to work. Are you sure of their reliability?

I presume "high-risk" just means "high-priced".

They mean that if I cancel the command, they might keep it in stock forever.(no one bought it at the time it was on stock)

And yes, I've purchased high price things before, Like Razer kits and so.(Mouse+Keyboard) even a monitor.

When things are on stock, you can get them the next day if you order before 6 PM, so that's nice, but not all of what you need is on stock.(Sadly).

Anyways, they are the number 1 importer in Romania.So I'm going to patiently trim my nails with my mouth while waiting.(Just an expression, I find doing that extremely disgusting).

Don't rush Just buy the parts you want when they are available. You would be annoyed if you bought random components just to finish then it didn't meet your expectations

Update:

Today at aprox. 16:30 I made the advance payment of roughly 950$(3.139,98 Lei).
I'l be waiting for a call/e-mail from the company with the shipping date.
Can't wait, but I'l do whatever I have to for this PC <3
