Cheers guys from tom's hardware. I've been using site/forum as a quality control before I buy stuff. Now it's time to ask my own question. It's about the comparison between two very affordable headsets :

1st http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
2nd http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

The price is kinda even and so is the quality. Still can't seem to decide which one is better. The most imporant thing is the microphone quality and then is the sound quality. Probably some of you might happen to have one of these or just have more info. Share your opinions and thoughts.

In general, Plantronics is a better brand for this kind of equipment. If you look at the top sellers in newegg there are plenty of Plantronics (including this one), but the microsoft headset is nowhere to be found.

I have the LiveChat 3000 and I love it. the only drawback there that it has is that you cannot adjust the base and use different sound profiles. The LiveChat also is USB and the sound drivers are great compared to 3.5 if you are using a laptop. The LiveChat is very comfortable and lasted along time. It is built very string and is a great product by Microsoft.

Thank you for the responses. I am coming to a conclusion that indeed the microsoft lx3000 is the better of the two.
As for the guys with the corsair headset, I tried to find it but noone is selling it in my country.
