Hello,
I don't have the best computer knowledge so i was wondering if one of you could help me out please?
I am buying a new desktop computer here are the specs:

CPU: NEW! Intel Pentium G850
Motherboard: NEW! Asus P8H61-M LX2 (Rev. 3)
Memory: 8GB DDR3 1333mhz (2x 4GB)
Hard Drives: 1TB S-ATAII 3.0Gb/s
Optical Drive: 22x DVD±RW DL S-ATA
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 1GB
Sound card: Onboard 7.1 Audio
Internet: Wireless 802.11N 300Mbps MIMO PCI card
Accessories: DVI to HDMI cable
PSU: 500W Xigmatek

is this good enough to play games on such as the Sims 3 & Call of Duty ect?

I will also be using it for general use (watching movies, work & the internet)

Is this good enough? Please also state if it is more than i will need for these things as i would like to save money if possible.

Thanks very much

The CPU might hold you back, and the GPU could be better, all in all its a decent budget computer. You might want to look into building your own computer, there are plenty of people on here, and even a dedicated forum for helping you do just that. You'll be able to make a better computer for less money.

i really don't think i will be able to build one myself at the moment, i am using the website http://www.dinopc.com/ with a budget of around £400, i don't need any operating system as already have the disks, its windows 7 home edition 64bit i think, could anyone reccomend a better system on the website with customisations
Thanks
