Double posts bug

think i know how to duplicate the Double posts bug.

goto an article while not logged in, type what you want to say in the reply, click submit, then close the box asking you for login details, copy the text you just wrote, and sign in using the link at the top of the page, once signed in paste your text back into the 'reply' and press submit, this will create two identical posts.

I'm not 100% sure what you mean. There doesn't seem to be any quick reply box if you aren't logged in. Do you click "add a reply?"

I just posted that after logging-out.

Flakes is right, if you [Reply to] and don't complete the log-in the (non) post will be held until you do log-in (if you see what I mean...) then it gets posted.

Man is that one going to give someone a headache to find!

Hey,

The tech team was able to reproduce and will work on a fix for this problem. However, I don't think it is what was causing those many multiple posts. That was likely some unknown database error no one has tracked down.
