No vga port on new cpu

Hello,
Trying to connect new HP CPU to Dell monitor and no VGA port on new CPU. I am very inexperienced, as you may guess. Is there an adaptor? I see that there are DVI ports on new CPU but don't see DVI on monitor. Yikes!

I think you mean GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) rather than CPU (Central Processing Unit).

Anyway, yes you can get DVI to VGA adapters. I suggest checking on Ebay. You can pick them up for a few £/$. Just search "DVI VGA Adapter"

Adrian, just wanted to let you know that some people actually call the tower itself the CPU. I have no idea why, but he is referring to the tower (and by extension, the graphics card/integrated graphics). So in the future if you see someone talking about the CPU like that, then you know what they are talking about for sure.
