Recently my Dell Dimension has gone into hibernation out of the blue. I've had it now for almost 2 years and never had this problem before. Power settings are fine. It can happen at any time, even during boot up! I've re-installed the Linux O/S (Ubuntu) and even another flavor of Linux, OpenSUSE, but the problem persists. I haven't been able to find a solution anywhere on the web. My tech checked all the hardware and said it is fine. I need to know if there is any solution before scrapping it. Thanks.
