Which one of these performs better,i know that core 2 duo has more cache but pentium has higher frequency and both are wolfdale.........so which one runs games better........thx in advance

when they went with the Core series processors they killed off netburst technology which required the high clock rates for performance (something which has recently come back), so the C2D will knock the socks off of the PD no matter what the clock rate is.

In this comparison the Intel® Pentium® E5800 3.2GHz and the Intel Core™ 2 Duo E7500 at 2.93GHz are both using the 45nm Core architecture (Wolfdale microarchitecture). So in the end the Intel Pentium E5800 is going to perform a little better then the Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 except applications that really tap into cache and data feed (maybe something like video editting). http://ark.intel.com/compare/36503,42802
