Hello,
I'm trying to decide between a Lenovo ideapad with i5 processor and 4GB hard drive 500Gb or the Lenovo ideapad with i3 processor and 8GB hard drive. Both are same price> I use for e mails, surfing, Office, but also DVD watching, and maybe videos and Photos as well as a photo package. Which should i go for

Thanks

you should not double post... that would be a good start.
on topic i agree with haguarskx, go for the upgraded CPU as 4gb is more than enough for most tasks and if you find it to be insufficient you can always upgrade.

Boy everyone else hit it, none of the applications that you are looking at should use much memory so the 4GB should be fine and that means that the best value is from the Intel® Core™ i5.
