Im' putting together a new system and can't get it to boot.
Iv'e installed so far a KT7 Raid Mobo,IBM75GXP 46G H/D,128 Mb ram,Floppy,CDRom,Hercules 3D Prophet Graphics card.
When I switch on I get the P.O.S.T.single beep,The bios had recognised the H/D & Graphics card and I get the message:verifying pool data, then Disk Boot Failure-Insert Disk etc.
I have downloaded "IBM Disk Manager Go" but the message reads the same. Also bios reads SDRAM at DIMM 0 ?. Any suggestions please?

Check the boot order in your bios and make sure that your hard drive is formatted/partitioned. Try booting off of a startup disk.

I have the exact same problem, and am eagerly awaiting an answer, I have tried the same things you have. My response is about the memory. Does it recognize the amount of memory you installed (or slightly greater?). I noticed the same thing, but interpereted it to be reading DIMM 0, DIMM 1, DIMM 2, since the motherboard has three DIMM slots (much like the primary hard drive is hard drive 0, the second is hard drive 1 (in ide) RAID seems to recognize them as primary and secondary. please let me know if you got a solution to the boot problem.
