Everytime when i see intel show off there new CPU's. They always start off with a movie video demo of how good it can run, but why?
Intel Pletium 4 can run these videos fine. Shouldn't they try to show off by playing games like starcraft 2 instead of showing a video?

Solution
It all comes down to the capabilities of Intel's integrated graphics. Intel's IGP can play HD video fine, but it still performs poorly in gaming. Intel's integrated graphics are only good for really old games that don't need lots of GPU horsepower. In order to show off gaming performance, they would have to pair the CPU with a graphics card from AMD or nvidia, and Intel doesn't want to showcase their competitor's technology when advertising their products.
