Hi, I need help finding a bios update for my gateway gt4024. Please help.

If they don't have it on their web site, try send them an email. But it is a pretty old computer, why do you need to update the bios?

because I want to put my powercolor radeon hd 5450 2gb gfx card in it and it requires a bios update heres my original thread on this

Hi, I need help finding a bios update for my gateway gt4024. Please help.

Have this same computer and am trying to upgrade to 2Gb, but every time I put a memory module in the upper slot, the computer won't boot. It will either freeze or freeze and emit continuous beeping. Any ideas?

You have to use 2 1gb memory modules I have it like this and it works great
