initially window7 installed but currupted,
i formatted c drive on windows7 by advance setup options and then,
installing xp then it says window cannot find any harddrive
and cancel setup
If you installed Windows 7 64 bit then your drive may have been configured under a GPT partitioning scheme rather than an MBR partitioning scheme. Windows XP doesn't have support for this and the drive will have to be reinitialized through the repair console by running the command "fix MBR".
Alternatively, Windows 7 may not have native driver support for the storage controller that your hard disk is attached to.
Lastly, Windows XP is end of life, Just use Windows 7 ffs!
