Hello All,

Nub in need of help, I'm having trouble finding out some information on the ASUS Maximus V Formula as i am very interested in buying one.

Question 1: ASUS' Thunderbolt EX Upgrade Card for 7-series does this work with this mobo?
http://www.anandtech.com/show/5935/asus-thunderbolt-ex-...

Question 2: I can not find any information if i can use a wireless headset on a ThunderFX as i despise cords and need a wireless headset, will this work on thunderfx?

Question 3: Lastly i am interested in buying one of these Wi-Fi GO! Module, my question is if this is compatible with this mobo?

Thank you for all your help

Try looking at ASUS forums for that motherboard.

I've been through hundreds of forums, most of them on ROG forums and still can not find any information about these three questions.

Okay wait maybe it doesn't support the thunderbolt thing - http://www.tomshardware.com/news/asus-thunderbolt-Z77-H... (Search for the word "Maximus" - It'll head you down to someone's comment)

As for the headphones, it probably should. Every external sound card does :\

the thunderfx has only one usb 2 port and from all my research it says its used for power.

"Simply plug in the provided USB cable into the ThunderFX and a PC or notebook."

"Remember the USB cable also needs to be plugged into a spare console port to provide power."

Oh well. Then it doesn't.

Save 100 bucks and get the normal Maximus V Formula, its for $279. I really didn't find the thermalfx thing fascinating. The formula already has great onboard audio.
