Might have shorted my motherboard

Hello, My motherboard and everything had been working for at least half a year and recently i got a new case and i installed it and the video wasn't working and i took it out and i figured out i didn't put the standoffs on the case. But the motherboard still turns for five seconds and still no video then it turns on for five seconds then turns off and restarts. did i break it?

While it is quite possible the motherboard has been injured, try resetting CMOS and see if that helps at all

How do I do that?

Easiest way is to unplug your computer, remove the battery on the motherboard for about 30 seconds. Put battery back in, plug in/turn on PSU, turn on computer.
