MB and HDD cant really decide...

Totat with %13 tax 1476 CAD without MB and 2X HDD for RAID 0

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire: Yes.. gonna add one in the future.

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments:

For the MB i cant really decide since there are PCI-E 3 motherboards available. However im not gonna update my cpu and GPU probably for 2-3 years, so im not really sure to go with PCI-E 3. The mb should also support SLI and USB 3.

I was gonna go with Samsung F3 1tb but its 74 CAD in neweggs.ca. I guess its kind of expensive. any suggestions or should i still go with samsung?

Also how does the system look?

Thats all my friends. I will start to get parts this week.

Thank you.

System looks good as long as the price is right. If you want to save a few bucks I have a Coolmaster 1000w Silent Pro and 4x2G Gskill Eco 1600mhz CL7(does 6-8-6-20-24-1T), I"ll let you have for $160. Shoot me an email at ht_addict at yahoo.ca

Screw newegg canada. It's a total hose job.

http://www.canadacomputers.com/location.php <----- This place has those new Asrock PCI-E 3.0 boards...the "Gen3" boards.

These two outfits down below are affiliated and both use the same shipping addy out of Richmond, BC. But even better both offer free ground shipping...so no shipping charges for either site.

Thanks Why_Me,

Canadacomputers has only ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3.. the ones im looking for z68 extreme4 gen3 or extreme7 gen3. I've been searching and searching and still couldnt find those models in Canada yet. Only newegg sells them and they're really overpriced. :(

I'm using a Western Digital Caviar Blue SATA III 1TB as my gaming drive. I also have Seagate Barracuda SATA II 2 x 250GB and 1 x 750GB drives for progams, my docs, media, backups, etc. The Seagate 250GB drives are ~5 years and 750GB drive ~3 years. WD Caviar Blue is around $60 Cdn.

Another retail/online store you might consider is NCIX. I shop there because they are best at price matching. Every price match I've done in-store have been hassle free.

NCIX should price match seeing how their prices are nothing short of rape. The Canadian dollar is beating the crap out of the US dollar yet NCIX prices their products like it's the other way around.

http://ncix.com/products/?sku=63945&vpn=Z68%20Extreme3%... <---- one of several examples. That board can be picked up at newegg for $124 USD. Now look what NCIX is charging for that board. Go do direct canada or best direct and compare their prices vs NCIX.

http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=11830BD1817&v... @ the OP...this board is priced decent. Just check to see if it has a front USB 3.0 header.
