Which is better?

Hi,

I plan on ordering a new graphics card this next coming week; however, I am having trouble being decisive. Which of these cards will better suite me in terms of FPS?

I have two people saying two different things.

the only advantage the 6850 has is the 160 stream processing units so I would have to say #1. Keep in mind the 6790 requires 2x6 PINS so you will need a 500w+.

I have a PSU that is 700w, however, the PCI wire has 3 heads on it (one 6 pin, one 6+2, and the one that connects to the PSU). Will this work? I know the GPU requires 2 PCI 6 pins.

Yes it will work ,but you have to make sure to snap off the extra 2 pin on the other 6 pin.
Be aware that these psu are a big risk so you might lose everything. Most of these cheap off brands are not well made and usually do not give off the wattage advertised. Best case it works fine.
