Hey there, it's bein we'll over 4 years since I constructed my last PC and now it's time to start fresh again. I'm pretty much out of the date with what's available out there nowadays and what would work.. I've given it a shot and picked out a PC that I think would work together.

Get this 8gb ram. 16gb is worthless for now.

Rest is good. I know you're going to use this for a long time so i won't recommend upgradability.

Your processor is for overclocking so if you dont plan to OC. Get this

thank you for your response, I've taken it into consideration the points and suggestions you made and pretty much changed everything you pointed out.. I'd rather spend a bit more knowing it'll last the test of time, then buy junk and upgrade it later.. as for the CPU, no I definitely don't plan on overclocking, so that's a pretty sound suggestion and saves a bit of dollar too, thanks

sorry for the double post, but also I've realised Newegg dont delivery to the UK and I cant remember who I ordered from the last time I built a PC, anyone have any suggestions? I know of Ebuyer and pretty much made my order there which comes to around 432.45 pounds just wanted to shop around for a bit and see which site's are cheaper, thanks in advance

Oh!! Get this motherboard or equivalent AM3+. The AM3+ would enable you to upgrade to the newer CPUs (Bulldozers) when the computer is old. At least you can recycle the mobo when you want to upgrade the CPU in the years ahead.
