I7-2600k 97C Degrees

Hi was checking on my pc cause i took it apart to clear the dust and noticed the cpu was so freakin hot. So i took it into my Bios and saw the temperature was 97C at startup. I then ran OCCT 4.0 and saw all my cores were 97C or above when they were supposed to be maxing out at 85C. Was wondering if there was a way to settle it down besides undoing the overclocking that i have set up.

what are you using to get these readings? Use program like hw monitor or Real Temp.

97 degrees is madness lol lower your overclock! Get an aftermarket cooler if you dont have one, but you shouldnt really go far above ~70degrees

what voltage/settings are you using for your overclock?
