EVGA GTX 460 memory

Hey guys....
I got a EVGA GTX460 SuperClocked 1GB EE gpu in my system......yet wen i run the dxdiag command, under video it shows video memory as 2gb....
any idea y?

running win7 ultimate 64bt...

I'm guessing that includes some shared system ram.

Yes oddly enough when I use a system scan with canyourunit website it says my card(9500 gt 1gb ddr2) has 2.5 gigs of memory. Shows of accurate certain scanners are in certain situations.
