I've had this for over a year and was running with no problems. Just a few days ago my mouse randomly quits working. I noticed it first while playing games since well.. it is pretty hard to miss. Sometimes it was just a hiccup, and start working again(and I'd hear the sound like I'd plugged in new hardware). Othertimes it would flat out stop, unplugging and replugging it in wouldn't help. I was not using usb 3.0 at the time for my mouse and keyboard. After it stopped working I would then try moving to 3.0(if I were mid game) and it would work for a bit and then finally decide to not work at all, and both keyboard and mouse are completely no responsive(there aren't even lights on the keyboard, mouse does have the light on though).
So, I threw in a different mouse even though I was pretty sure it wasn't either of the mouse or keyboard and it still happens. I have flashed the bios to the latest version, and did a straight fresh format and install of windows 7. Same issues are going on. It happens outside of playing games too, but not as much since I think using it more seems to cause it to crash/die faster.
I can provide other hardware details if you need them, I don't know if anything else will be very relevant and up until last week when it started happening, I had made no hardware changes at all. Mostly I'm looking for any solutions I could try short of sending it in to see if they can repair it since I believe it is under the 2 year limited warranty as I got it from Newegg, but I can't be without a PC more than a couple days due to needing it for school. So barring that, I'll probably have to buy a new one.
I probably completely failed and there's a better way to post this, but its late and I've been googling for solutions for a while and browsing ASrock hardware forums to no avail. My diagnosis: mobo problem, which sucks since its not that old and I don't want to buy a new one.
