Memtest question.

I downloaded a .exe file of memtest from here: http://hcidesign.com/memtest and everytime I run it my computer freezes the second it starts...same story as whenever i run prime95....does this mean my RAM is broken?

propably but if you didnt have any other issues like other programmes crashing and stuff it may be the software but i doubt it

I doubt it, if its a ram issue the system will almost always produce a bsod although not always, it actually sounds like you have a power issue. I recommend you download the bootable version of memtest and run that.

Ok, Ill have to run out and buy a cd but I will...Also what do you think the problem is with the power?
