Radeon HD5670 display problems?

I tried to install a new driver on my card, and in the middle of the installation the screen blacked out and the comp restarted itself. It gave me the option of starting in safe mode because of the crash, but I didn't. Now, when I use my HDMI out into my monitor from the card, the display doesn't stretch across the screen. It's about an inch short. The resolution is set to 1920x1080. When I use the HDMI to DVI display cable, it works fine.

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 255 Processor
Card name: ATI Radeon HD 5600 Series (Radeon HD5670)

Any thoughts?

That's a common issue with connecting a video card to a HDTV or monitor using a HDMI connection.

You need to go into Catalyst Control Center, expand the Digital Panel section and look for Scaling Options. Use the slider to adjust the screen until the desktop fills up the entire screen.
