I7 2700k showing up as a dualcore!

Greetings! I just upgraded my sandybridge system! I swapped my i5 2500k for an i7 2700k. I was real happy with the 2500k but got a smoking deal on the i7 ($104). Anyways just installed it on my P67 Sabertooth B3 Board. In CPUID it shows up at 2 core and 4 threads. And windows sees a hyperthreaded dual core. I have 1904 BIOS installed. Im stumped!? Please help

Solved. Under msconfig I had selected 4 cores. I put it back to default and it shows up properly now.
