Graphics card update from integrated GPU

Hi there, i was wondering if this cards will not fry my computer,

this is my pc specs
Originally, HP Pavillion a6640d ( i realize buy prebuilt pcs crap)

15in1 front card reader
2gb ddr2 ram(1 stick)
sony optiarc DVD-rw
conexant 56K modem ( i take it out coz im not using it)
and psu Bestec 250w

+3.3v/18A

whats the best graphic card can you recommend?

im leaning to
Sapphire HD 5570 1GB HDMI, and Sapphire HD 5450.

whats the best card i can buy? without sacrificing the Whole computer.

btw im running its 20" monitor (1680x1050)

and playing with the intregrated around 800x600 at lowest settings ( duh.. )

250w? Ouch, Not much room to play with there..
I would really suggest getting a new PSU, People say those cards will work with it but it would probably be in your best interest not to.

does changing psu with 500w can fry my mobo? im afraid because it is my first time..

and is it realy hopeless to have discrete GPU? just to up from integrated graphics

Your motherboard won't fry, don't worry about that. Its not really much of a hopelessness from upgrading from a discrete. Which PSU are you going to buy ?

but my case is a mid atx case... can this PSU slot nicely to my case??

and if thats the case im going to buy Gts450..

do you think its okay to upgrade my E2200? or its too obsolete?

i think i can safely attach the 5570 of 5450 card?

ican detached the conaxant 56k modem coz im not using it and according to the outervisions psu calculator, (w/ the 56k modem) the 5450 had an additional 3w and in 5570 12w... does it majority affect the labor of my psu?

Yes your E2200 is a bit old and that GTS 450 might be of a bottleneck. Small one though.

whats the possibility of not running the card? or if i equip the card and, run, im good to go as usual, and does it decrease the life of my psu? the psu labor is bothering me and worst it will junk my whole pc

im buying the card personally so i can assure the products safeness and to less the freight fee which cost aroung 1/6 of the total price of the car ( cheapskate)

im planning to keep it maybe around one and a half more year because it can handle my jobs ( programming, sort of gaming( requiring pixel 3.0 for the game) , and web browsing) around 6 hrs a day, will my pc last than long? =)

what are the factors of not having the supplimentary power connections of pcie cards?

if i have a card that dont require a supplimentary power connector. dost it mean that ican slot any card on 220w without thinking the psu?
and if i have a card with supp. power. connector, i must look on my psu?

im just that paranoid co i dont want my computer to happy new year.

and the more i research the more im confused..
on pc wiard the pcie bus seems to be populated but theres no card inserted.
and the card is pcie2.1 and my mobo is 1.0 i heared there are conflicts

ive search about bios update of the mobo..
but the only update is nvidia g210 only and
more bios security

so my bios rev is 5.11
and im going to buy the Sapphire HD5570 on my system

Dont worry ur PSU cant handle the 5570

Hd5570 ddr3 low profile is available..

confusion.. the low profile is PCie 2.0 on sapphires website.

but on newegg its 2.1
