Hello,
I have NAS connected to my wireless router, but using Windows7(32bit hp) access is random, Windows can see the drive but not connect, usually left to itself, I can go back and access it. Any suggestions welcome.

If you are having similar issues with internet via wireless, the problem may be with the wireless.

You should try to optimise your reception and avoid interference.

1) raise the router above furniture level
2) Experiment with channels (some will work better or worse depending on your environment)
3) If you can detect strong neighbouring wifi, use a channel 5 stops away from strongest.
4) Relocate cordless phone base or video sender etc.
5) Be prepared to move the computer (or at least turn it so your body is not between the router signal and the wireless adapter's antenna.

Thanks fihart, but I don't think that is the answer.
Both my Windows7 computers are within 5 foot of the router.
My old back up computer running XP professional, which is upstairs and approximately 20 foot away, does not appear to have the same problem.
I suspect it is something in W7 security or firewall, but have not been able to find anything.
