I will buy a new monitor but its refurbished ?

guys i saw a great deal on refurbished monitor with resolution of 2560x1440 but im afraid my friend told me that the refurbished products are prerepaired? can i buy it or it may be broken or it may die fast if any one knows what refurbished means please tell me

Refurbished means it was returned to the factory. Could be because of a defect or because a person decided they didn't want it and returned it, you never know for sure. Refurbs are tested and repaired if they need it and repackaged. They may die fast, but so might a new one, the only difference is the warranty length.

It's a used monitor that was fixed, may have a chance of dying sooner than a new one, may not. Doubt it will be broken when you get it though.
