How many amps are on the 12/v rail on that Antec PSU?

What resoultion is your monitor?

I think as it is your Quad core @ 3ghz will bottleneck anything higher than a 6870.And I have doubts about it not bottlenecking it.I think the 6870 is the best you can get for your money. It's faster than the 550ti and GTX560.The 6870 is more on par with the GTX560ti but it's $50 cheaper.

thank you for your input!and when u say bottleneck you mean i cant handle anything faster right? also says 18A for amps on the 12V ... is that sufficient? im not against buying a new psu if necessary.

Yes.Anything faster than a 6870 will start to get bottlenecked.I would suggest getting a new PSU.

heh hard to find a graphic card at a decent price when i expect to build a supercomputer next year .... maybe the 6770 or 550 ti would be better options since i only play call of duty and hon... what do you say about power supply? what psu is decent .... and do i gotta look for a certain amp on 12v?

Since you're asking for opinions, here's mine. Do NOT buy an AMD/ATI GPU. Their drivers have always been and still are buggy.

I would suggest going with the GTX560.In a year when you decide to build a newcomp you can always buy another GTX560 for SLI.

Your current Antec PSU is a little weak. Here's a good PSU.And you can bring it with you onto your next build if you want.
