my dwd on a laptop acer aspire 5252 isn't workin'.please tell me how can i fix this issue?

Pioneer DVD-RW DVRTD10RS on emachine e443. Driver won't load. Emachine support doesn't have drivers for dvd. Microsoft doesn't have drivers for this model. Microsoft update says they're up to date, yet the OS says it can't load them.

Does anyone know where I can get good drivers for this dvd writer? Windows 7 64 bit
