G.Skill Ripjaws X and Noctua NH-D14

Hey guys. I am planning on building my first computer. For my RAM I was planning on getting the G.Skill Ripjaws X Series*. I am going to get the 2 pack of 8GB so I will have 16GB for my system. To cool my i7 3770k I was planning on getting the Noctua NH-D14. My question is will this memory fit under the fan on the D14? And also any reviews/thoughts/suggestions on this memory would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Check the Noctua website it has a compatibility list for motherboards. Depends how your memory channels are setup on your motherboard.

Hi there, i admit i am addicted to overclocking.I have the NH-D14 same ram in my secondary rig and it fit's fine.If you plan to overclock your ram.I wouldn't suggest getting that series. G.SKILL has other ram better for that.

Only if you plan to overclock CPU, otherwise DDR3-1600 is very good for stock CPU.

Well for the price difference i recommend you just stick with what you linked to it's not worth the extra cost.
