i found out it was the usb drivers causing the issue searched online and found out 2 possible fixes
1.)(i did not use) uninstall drivers and reinstall
2.) Update/reinstall over old drivers
"2" worked for me but i thought id post "1" incase someone else had this issue
well recently (yesterday) i updated my bios so that borderlands 2 would stop getting BSOD on launch.
well that worked all fine the game runs great but now my problem is every few restarts(full shutdown full restart)
the computer gets BSOD. i think its to do with something under bios. i have set it to default settings. i have checked
load order and its all fine and the only USBs i have plugged in are 1.) mouse(wireless) 2.) keyboard(wireless) 3.) speakers(wired)
and a extension usb wire(not important).
there is no dvd in the dvd drive. and i do not have to do nothing after the BSODs i will just restart computer then itll get BSOD
then it USUALY restarts itself and once restarted i say start windows normaly and the computer is on its path to working.
i noticed this started 6 hours ago. i put my computer to sleep(give or take 12 hours after bios update) then when i woke
up i tried to resume and the screen was black(but the screen was getting signals) and i could not resume so i restarted
via restart button on the tower and it said resuming windows then mid resume it got BSOD so i restarted and did as i said before
and the computer ran.
this is not needed to be fixed(IMO) bc the computer still works and TBH its running faster since i updated the 3+ year old bios.
but i would love for someone to try and explain why this might be happening bc i would prefer a fully operational gaming pc ^^
p.s i put this under motherboards bc im certain its bios issue
fx 4100 3.6 ghz
8 gb ram
mobo :gigabyte 970a-ud3
when i get a sustained BSOD again i will post error code ^^ i guess thats important
