I have to say, "yes" definitely worth it over the reference GTX 570. The extra factory overclock already puts it near the top overclock attained by most reference 570's. Then it comes with more robust power management to allow even higher overclocks on top of that.

Being very late to market this one eVGA released a GeForce GTX 570 Classified Graphics Card. It looks fairly reference based but It draws power from an 8-pin and a 6-pin power connector and has a better VRM design. Being very late to market this one eVGA released a GeForce GTX 570 Classified Graphics Card. The card packs 1280 MB memory on a 320-bit wide GDDR5 interface and clocks in at 975 MHz (3.90 GHz effective), churning out 156 GB/s of bandwidth.

The core is clocked at 822 MHz, and the 480 CUDA cores available are at 1644 MHz. (reference speeds are 732/1464 MHz. The display connectivity is different from the one on the reference design, it features two DVI connectors, and one each of DisplayPort and HDMI (both full-sized). Available on EVGA's online store, the GTX 570 Classified is priced at US $359.99.

EVGA targets their Classified series towards overclockers and enthusiasts and this GTX 570 looks like it has what it takes. The preliminary info given to us indicates a 10-layer custom PCB and advanced 6-phase digital PWM will be used while voltage read points are integrated into the PCB for quick access to vital information. For some additional overclocking headroom, the Classified is equipped with a 6+8 pin power connector layout. Finally, EVGA’s new “HD” designation comes from the fact that this card houses a full sized HDMI 1.4 connector as well as a DisplayPort output.
