ABIT HotRod 100Pro IDE RAID or ABIT KT7 RAID mobo

Whats better to do? buy the KT7 that has onboard RAID, or keep my A7V and buy the RAID controller? I only ask because on board can be weird in certain situations, and I don't know very much about RAID setups

The onboard raid would be faster. The Adaptec raid cards are the best if you get a card. The Adaptec cards have more functions than the onboard raid. I have two abit SAR6 computers in my office. The raid makes them fast. Raid is easy to setup. Just follow the directions. The raid on the abit boards do not support Hard drive Suspend.
