Ethernet port stops working after computer hibernates?

I have a GIGABYTE GA-P67A-UD4-B3 system that I built about a year and a half ago. For the last 6 months or so I've been having issues with the ethernet connection showing disconnected when the computer comes out of hibernation. The port on the switch is still lit up. I am running Windows 7 64 bit and if I try to disable the adapter nothing happens (I click the button but the adapter doesn't disable). If I restart the computer the adapter starts working properly. At first I thought it was a problem related to a defective hard drive I had, but I replaced the drive and still have this particular issue. I've made sure all the drivers are updated so I guess its time to look at the motherboard but still seems like a weird issue. Anyone have any ideas?

enter the configuration of the card and in Power Management, uncheck "Allow computer to turn off this device to save power"
