Ok so a game I want to run fails on canirunit.com because it says my video card isn't good enough because it's a 6000 series I have a hd6850 and it says recommended is a 4850 is there a way to get windows to see what the card really is and not just a 6000 series I downloaded the newest drivers when I installed it this week

When it says that your card is a 6000 series, it doesn't mean your card is an
AMD 6000 (which doesn't exist), it means it's any card starting with a 6.
For example: a 6870 is a 6000 series card, but a 6950 is also a 6000 series card.

May I ask what game it is that you're trying to run?
Because the 6850 is a pretty good card and *should* be able to run all games except for ridiculous stuff like crysis..

Something is wrong with the website if it says your 6850 isn't good enough and recommends a 4850.

Sounds like a really really crappy site.

forget canyourunit. if a 4850 can run it, a 6850 can run it better.
