How Do These Components Look?

I am attempting to build my own PC for the first time and I think I have found some good quality components, but I would like a second opinion on them.
I am going to purchasing all of the components from newegg.com. The only things that I am worried about is static, but I solved that with an antistatic wristband and the other is getting a component that doesn't work, not being able to figure out which one it is and if I do figure out what it is, then how to return it. I have never had to return something I have bought from the internet and I have no idea how to file a RMA. Well, even with my worries I've decided that I will build the computer and these are my component selections.

Case: Cooler Master HAF X

Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair V Formula AM3+

Videocard: Powercolor Radeon HD 6870 (When I have extra money I plan to buy another and Crossfire)

Power Supply: CORSAIR Professional Series HX850 (850 watts)

Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T (I will probably be making this purchase after Bulldozer is released and will buy one of those)

Memory: CORSAIR Vengence 8GB (2X4gb) DDR3 1600

Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 7200rpm

ODD: ASUS bulk dvd burner

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium OEM (does OEM come with a product key?)

Cooler: CORSAIR H100 Liquid Cooling

I would like to know if these are quality components and if they would all work together. Do SATA power cables come with the psu and do SATA data cables come with mobo? Can someone explain to me the entire process of getting a DOA component and then getting an rma and returning it? This will be my first build and could someone direct me to a good tutorial explaining how to assemble and how to install windows and drivers? I am also getting a mobo power cable extender because I have heard that people with the HAF X haven't been able to route the mobo power cable through the back. Any advice you can give to a first time builder that you wish you had when you built your first pc would be invaluable to me.

If this build is for gaming, you could get more performance from: (should be very similar price i believe)

motherboard: ASUS M5A99X EVO AM3+ AMD 990X $144

psu: CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 750W $95 after rebate

gpu: XFX HD-695X-ZNDC Radeon HD 6950 1GB $210 after rebate

or
gpu: GIGABYTE GV-N560OC-1GI GeForce GTX 560 Ti $205 after rebate

750w PSU is enough to SLI/Crossfire either card. Motherboard supports SLI and Crossfire.

I don't think you should worry that much about ESD, as components these days are pretty resilient to it. As long as you don't try and deliberately damage them then chances are they won't be.

You won't have any problems with cables lengths, as the 24pin cable is 60cm long and the ATX/EPS12V cable is 60cm and the case comes with an extender for this particular cable as well.

Yes SATA power cables come with the PSU and SATA data cables will come with the mobo.

The Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB or Seagate Barracuda 1TB drives are both cheaper than the WD Caviar Black, but perform just as well if not better.

Yes OEM OSs come with a product key.

Unfortunately, neither have even close to the warranty of the WD Black. You get 2yrs with Seagate, 3yrs with Samsung, and 5yrs with WD Black.

You get what you pay for, plain and simple.

Besides, Samsung hasn't been making hdd's long enough to even know if they are reliable. WD has been making hdd's for DECADES.

What exactly do you mean by this? Your going to buy the 1100T after BD is released and then buy a BD.....Why not just buy BD? Or buy a $105 955BE and then buy BD?

I am probably going to buy all of my components after bd is released, but the 1100t is just a placeholder.
